World Atlas of Solar Energy

The World Bank offers a free online tool that allows you to observe in great detail places around the world, and offers downloadable maps of all developing countries. This new interactive tool is good news for everyone has ever sought data or maps of solar energy resources between the huge and sometimes confusing variety of resources that are available to the general public. The spatial resolution is one kilometer.

The World Atlas of Solar Energy Resources has been funded by the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP), available free of charge through the following link: http://globalsolaratlas.info
