    Andrew Ross

I am interested in knowing the correlation between several raster layers using a matrix of commission and omission errors. I have seen that there are GIS tools for it (I preferred to avoid using other programs like SPSS or Rstudio).

    I’ve used:

    Arcgis: Band collection Stadistics
    Qgis: complement r. covar

My doubt is about the statistician (e. g. Pearson correlation coefficient) they employ. I’ve searched for information from a variety of sources (assistance and program manuals, other forums, etc.), but I can’t find it anywhere. It also strikes me that the results vary from one program to another, so I suspect they use a particular statistic each.

If anyone can give me a hand, I’ll be eternally grateful. Thank you!
